Hi i would really like some advice i have read somewhere that the bridgestone runflats that they put on the z4 coupe get punctures every week is this true , advice would really be appreciated

Never heard that before but most people here have changed to non runflats for more comfort and less road noise.

Ive just changed to non RF's and it worth doing - much improved!! Ive put a can of Holts Tire Weld in the boot and keep the RAC card handy

Don't know why the coupe tyres would be any different; I've had them on for five years and 40,000 miles and never had a puncture.

Not being rude but I wasn't sure if this was a genuine question? or someone's pulled your thingy, which if you are the same allpine99 that subscribes to LPSG.org would be a big pull and you don't need a big sports car anyway! It may be that someone uses the name elsewhere, if so a quick google may make you blush

im not on any other forums just joined this , yes was serious question as i was googling z4 coupes and someone aid beware of the runflats and that he had 3 punctures in a week and it became expensive

In which case I make a humble apology, it's a shame someone uses the same name on other forums, it made me chuckle for sure.

Anyway I had runflats for six months without punctures and I doubt there is any reason they will be more prone to them. If you search runflats or RFTs on the forum you will find lots of discussion, mostly people getting rid of the original Bridgestone RFTs for a better brand or non-runflats due to the horrible ride and fidgety handling. Good luck with the coupe search, great looking cars
