Hi All

I know this topic has been covered numerous times before but the time has now come that my Bridgestone RFTs are worn and considering all the comments I was thinking of replacing with the Continental Sport Contact 5.

Also been reading about puncturesafe and not much info in regards to Z4s, so does anyone have any experience of it and are there any other recommendations for the choice of tyre.

Cuurently running 108s.

Thanks All

Well Falken 452s always have good press (I've had a set sitting in Citylinks Cardiff depot since last Thursday morning and STILL waiting for next day delivery LOL) but others will tell you that newer RFT technology is much better than it was.

I asked local stockist "Elite" about 3rd gen Bridgestones but they couldnt comment as havent had them in yet, but suspect they are same as the old ones...

I'll get in before Gannet... look at alternative brands for the RFTs, I was very impressed with Gannet's Michelins - far better ride than the Bridgestones and they maintain some of the sharpness that I feel is lost moving to non-RFT tyres, which I have done and would do again. Peddy recently did a tyre poll, that may help you for non-RFT options. If you search there is a thread about the options if you ditch the runflats - even of puncture provision.
