Run flats and insurance

On another thread somebody made a comment that you need to tell your insurer about having run flats.

Can anybody corroborate this ? To me the only question they ask about the car is whether it has any modifications. And to the best of my knowlegde (I may be wrong) ..run flats are standard for the E85 Roadster, so not a modification.

Anyone ?

Standard on non M versions, so no need to inform as it is standard spec.
