Has anyone here swapped out their run flats for either Conti Road Sport 5 or Uniroyal Rainsport 3s?

I replaced with and with Pilot® Sport A/S 3 and i brought spare from barvarian my summer set was POTENZA 070 nice .
i did this for better ride and if i ever damaged or got flat i would have a warranty and any dealer could take the off, not everybody have tool to take off tire.

I have the Conti 3s & by all accounts the 5's improve in all areas , though not much difference in grip & handling :

from the web

9% better wet braking
1% better aquaplaning resistance
4% dry braking
5% dry handling
12% better rolling resistance (lower fuel consumption)
13% improved wear
5% quieter

Doubt you would be disappointed whichever you went with

I had the Conti 3s on one of my MX5s and they were excellent, I've heard the 5s wear a lot quicker though. The guy who does my bike tyres recommended the 3s a while back and I did have the excellent conti road attacks on that for a while but changed them recently to Michelin Road Pilot 4s - odd looking tyre but they do stick well! They don't make the Road Attacks any more sadly.

Vredestein seem to be well liked on the Z4 so may give them, a look. I'm in no rush to change really, the Z won't get a lot of use over winter so I may wait until Spring to change the run flats. Let's face it most normal tyres will be better than these R/Fs :D

I had conti contact 5`s on my 335d & they didn`t last, very soft. Michelin pss far better tyre.
