run flat replacement on a pcp contract

Can anyone offer some advice on run flats on a car with a pcp contract? I don't like run flats and as with my previous Minis want them replaced with non run flats ASAP. However, the car is on a pcp and I have heard problems from people with cars being refused a pcp guaranteed value because they are no longer standard. Would this apply to the tyres as I wouldn't want to be in a position when the pcp is up and having to buy 4 run flat tyres to put on. Thanks.

If you've already got runflats on, then simply remove them and fit non-runflats.

Then when your PCP is up simply replce the non-runflats with the runflats you've previously removed.

Or am I missing something that you haven't said?

mmmm-five, has hit the nail on the head, exchange the runflat's for non-runflats while there is some life in them and then when the car goes back simply put the original tyres back on again

and yes - I'm sure they will be refused on returning the car as I've heard many people having £700 plus knowcked off on attempted BMW tradein's to replace such tyres, but it's only a simplek call to BMW finance to ask.

To swap back you need only the cheapest place to put the RFT's back at <£10 per wheel no balance valve, etc as any new purchaser would be getting new tyres anyway.

Sounds logical.....

Now why didn't I think of that. Thanks for what now seems an obvious solution :?

Just need a bit of space in the garage.
