Run flat light on red, but all tyres are at same pressure?

The run flat light came on yesterday red in colour, checked the pressures this morning and one of the rear tyres was at 24psi the other at 30, so I thought "oh thats it just pump the low one up". I also checked and pumped up the fronts too as they were both a little low. Trouble is the run flat light is still on and wont go out, even after driving. I wasn't driving the car yesterday my other half was and she said she heard a noise from the back before the light came on, but not immediatly before, like she had run over something. Im just wondering if one of the sensors has come out, but before I jack the car up on the wet drive I just wanted anyones opinion on the likely cause.

Have you done the reset procedure after inflating the tyre? The light won't go off until you do. Press and hold the tyre button, turn on the ignition, wait for a bong, release the button. The light should clear.

You need to do what Stuart says, but for the sensor to re-set properly you need to drive the car after pressing the button to switch the light on, as it measures the rolling radius to set it correctly

I reset mine today. Sat in car with engine running. Press and hold button. Red light turns yellow then disappears after youve moved the car a few wheel rotations.

sorted now thanks chaps, really should read the manual but i am a chap so dont read instructions.

Actually the car isn't mine it belongs to SHMBO, although i have to fettle it and clean it, but i do insist on driving it when we go out together. My weekend hero is a Lotus Esprit GT3 which obviously tales a lot more tinkering than a Zed

Thanks again
