I suspect that the wide angle lens on the video cam makes the straight sections of the road seem longer than they really are. IMO there would not really be any safe place to pass someone on that road. The speed limit on that section I believe is 45 MPH. I believe we might have been going a little faster than that...

Look a lot like the roads near me ie the trossachs scotland ....but we drive on the proper side of the road !!!
