Not into rugby, but loved it. The way sport should be no rolling around and shouting at the ref.

More into football (despite my dad being an 'egg catcher') but watched the game. Great spectacle, really enjoyed it

Bet them guys ache all over in the morning
Think footie could learn a lot. No rolling around or histrionics, respect for the ref, mixed crowd with booze in hand!!!

You must. Passion, competition, brutality, respect, sportsmanship and elite athletic prowess - all in the same place, packed in tight with plenty of ego... And yet it rarely spills over into handbags on the pitch, and even less amongst the fans. You'll really, really enjoy it

Ive been the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff countless times for Wales games and I can tell you the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end everytime during the Anthems. None more than Wales v Scotland. The pride and passion is unrivalled. Its such atmosphere you just have to experience.
Ive also been to Murrayfield for Scotland v Wales and the Scottish cut the band to allow the crowd to sing unaccompanied and its absolutely fantastic. Much better than getting some Opera bird to try and yodel her way through it. I love it !
Looking forward to watching Scotland today. I hope they win.

Scotland are really improving though. They looked in much better form during the Autumn.
I really thought they'd do the French today and was hoping they will start competing with the bigger boys rather than just playing for the wooden spoon every year with Italy. They're still capable of causing an upset though, I reckon.

Almost makes me wish i was still playing, can't beat it..the team spirit,everyone pulling together,bit of argy bargy,you always have your team mates back,fisticuffs etc....then all to the bar afterwards,supping copius quantities of ale sitting with the guys you've just spent the last 80 mins trying to pound into the dirt and all have a jolly good time.....

Off to rugby shortly - my U15 boys are in a semi-final today and we've got the whole mini & youth sections coming along to support. Should be awesome - I feel a bit sick with nerves, and I'm not even playing :lol:
