Welcome to the forum OP!

Ruby Black and Extended Ammarone leather sounds like a fantastic combination - why wouldn't you? :)

My 1st 3.0Si was Ruby Black and it looked fantastic in good sunlight, and as much as I liked the Pearl Grey interior Ammarone Extended would have been so much better!

Hopefully next time you post it will be yours.

As Mr Tidy says in the right light that colour is explosive!! Sounds a cracker.
Look forward to seeing more pics.
And welcome
D

We've seen that car appear on the forum before....lovely looking thing. Amarone is my absolute favourite colour...thinking of getting my black interior redone in this at some point soon.

Oh man, that is a great looking M coupe!

Ditto. Amarone is the colour I'd choose too. I've never been a big fan of red leather seats (I can't help seeing Michael Jackson in Thriller), but amarone being a much darker shade really does do it for me.

My coupe is black, which as a combo I think would look good, but I wonder if a dark blue such as Monaco would most suit amarone.

That’s the colour combo in the back of the Original Sales brochure for BMW Individual, stunning combination imo 8)

For me, the silver or sterling grey are the best colour matches to the Amarone, but any colour other than yellow would work nicely with it.

Done some googling and I think you're on to something...

Really like this combo

Car still for sale OP , did you view it ?
Providing it has the recognised service history then Its certainly at the low end of the price scale for a sub 100k ZMC , £14995 ask :o

Top bombing :) has it had its second ins2 or is it due ?

Just had the seller send me a copy of the service history which unfortunately has nothing after the 84k service in December 2014 - it’s now done 93k and was not MOT’d in 2015 or 2017 due to lack of use. Apparently it drives faultlessly is in cracking nick and has 4 new P Zero tyres. What do you reckon still worth the plunge or time to walk away - it’s a 4hour journey to collect?

Its not had a service for 4 years even though little miles have been done.

I would immediately have an insp 2 service and then you will be good to go and enjoy the car.

These are the service intervals and associated dates - all done by Listers or Sytner:

Running in Service 1034 Oct-06
Oil Service 11115 Nov-08
Inspection 1 22734 Nov-09
Oil Service 34511 Jan-11
Inspection 2 46003 Dec-11
Oil Service 58682 Dec-12
Inspection 1 71649 Dec-13
Oil Service 84239 Dec-14

So its only done 10,000 mile in the last 4 year - should I stick with main dealer for the Inspection 2 that's now due and will the 4 year gap affect by ability to sell on in a few years time?

Decent history behind it from the above , , get a thorough Ins2 done ( with coolant+brake fluid if needed ) from a decent indy which should be no more than £750
Then you should have a fine example going forward , enjoy it & get to some meets

If this car is debadged from the factory, then I know the original owner 😉

I was thinking of buying it about six months ago but the mileage was a little high for me.
