I have for sale my 3ltr Z4Si Coupe. I have owned the car just under a year and a half and have loved every minute of it. I am looking to get a c63 and I can’t justify having two toys (so I have been told).

Tyres are non runflats (Eagle F1's all round) with a good couple of years life in them.

I have replaced both front brakes and callipers (I had one stick on me so changed the whole fronts). I have wrapped the front fog lights (you can see in the pictures) to give a cleaner look on the car. It has a new windscreen a couple of months back- I cracked it while trying to take out the rubber surround as it had cracked and was looking rather sorry for its self. I have also been over all the plastic around the car with gtechniq c4 so they should stay dark for a couple of years.

Bad points- the wheels could do with a refurb within the next couple of years- they still look presentable but are peeling on the inside. The rear badge is feeling a little sorry for its self and there are a few stone chips on the bonnet. Not noticeable but they are there if I am being picky. The garage I bought it off sprayed the front bumper before I bought it so its all good up front and there is a slight blemish near the Arial.

I have spent a lot of time caring for the car and the paintwork overall is amazing for it’s age. It really pop’s in the sunshine.

Please feel free to check out the MOT History of the car

Cheers Inkey.

Ruby Black is a pleasure and a chore all rolled into one. Looks amazing in the summer sun but shows up any dirt in the winter!

I will get some more photo's up over the weekend- couldn't get off the drive this weekend in Yorkshire.

Thanks Ronnie,

There are also a "walk around" video to send across if anyone is interested -you need to excuse my very poor presenting skills (Chris Harris is safe for the time being).

Very strange time to buy a car at the moment. I have been looking at a few but can't bring myself to put down a decent house deposit on a car that I have to "Click and Collect" from a garage. I think I have got my next car basically sorted as the guy is happy to wait until after lockdown. Typical it's the other side of the country but going to be a great drive home.

I am sure if this car is essential to someone we can work something out in terms of test drives etc- masks, gloves and sanitisation.

If anyone wants more video's etc just give me a shout.

Not really had any interest.

Is it a slow market/covid or is my pricing out?

Really good advert. It’s a slow market with the current COVID situation. Pricing wise possibly slightly strong for a private sale although you have put ONO on your advert so people can make you an offer if they feel it’s worth less! Maybe drop it £500 may help... good luck with the sale 🙂

Lovely car and a good ad, my z4 didn't have much interest on here despite being a well presented 3.0si at a very good forum only price.... .sold on ebay in a few days for 400 more than i was asking for on here.

Mate of mine has recently bought a c63.. hell of a car

Cheers mate.

They are very hard cars to price at the moment. I shall take that on board.

Thankyou.

I have put it on Facebook (for all to see not the Z4 page) and gumtree last week. Will pop in on eBay and maybe auto trader next week. What's the best way to work it with eBay? They take a sizeable chunk right?

I would rather just sell it to someone who knows what it is not a tyre kicker if that makes sense.

I have a good C63 lined up tbf. Going for a Saloon with Full MBSH, LSD, Performance Package and Mapped to 520. Guy is a real enthusiast and I think I am going to have to chisel the keys out of his hands.

Chatting with the Mrs tonight and she seems ok with me keeping the Z but it's an awful waste having 2 cars when you do about 3.5k miles a year.

28 day classified ad is best think its still 20 quid with nothing else to pay after that, if you auction it they do take a chunk more i think but classified ad with best offer has always worked for me

Chances are you wont use te zed when that c63 drops, they really are an amazing car, Id have one in a heartbeat if i could afford the running costs.. thirsty beasts that devour tyres :D

This is never a good time of year to sell any car - people are often still paying Christmas Credit Card statements! And with lockdown on top I can see why you might not have had much response TBF - after all going to buy a Z4 might be difficult to justify as essential travel!

I had a similar problem with my 3.0Si last January, and had to drop the price considerably before I got any interest but it did go early in February. When lockdown happened I was glad I had sold it, but when lockdown ended prices shot up.

If you can afford to wait until this lockdown ends you might do much better.

Anyway it sounds like you'll enjoy that C63.

Cheers Mr T.

I have no major rush but when I decide to do something I want it done yesterday.

I know that if I sell the Z 1st then I can't keep them both when the AMG comes. It will cost 90 quid a month to insure it alongside the AMG so it's not going to break the bank.

I guess you can't social distance in a Z so it will be a mask and gloves jobbie I guess. I haven't really thought of the logistics there.

I would say picking up a car is essential. If you can pick up a car from a garage then I can't see it stopping you selling one domestically?

I know what you mean about the insurance - that and the Road Tax were the issues I had having bought my M the previous December, and I also had my 330i daily but only 2 parking spaces!

As others have said, I think post Christmas, Covid and a possible slowing in the market don't help, I also think as the end of Furlough is in sight a few potential buyers are sitting on their money. Lets face it, for most of us a Z4 is a "toy" and/or a second car, there will be those too who are looking to take advantage of the current climate and get a car below normal values. I recently purchased my coupe however, I was specifically looking for a Straus Grey one so if someone is specifically looking a Ruby Black one you may sell for around the asking price. Failing that I fear you may need to drop the price or wait until spring when it is expected the market will improve. GLWTS though it looks like a thoroughly well looked after example.

Price is ONO and It's worth a couple of hundred quid to me for the hassle of getting rid and not having to insure two motors but let's face it- If I was a betting man (and I am) the money is probably worth more to me sat under my carport sorn over the next couple of years than it is in the bank I guess.

You could well be right, many have stated that they are a future classic so prices may well continue to rise - when I insured mine the company did it as a classic car automatically so that may be an indication of what the industry expects of them.

As for the C63, my mate is trying to sell me his - what an absolute monster of a machine, and that sound!! Unfortunately too far out of my price range but maybe one day :)
