Rubbing sound when driving

When I had the roof down and music off I noticed a rubbing sound as I coasted slowly along approaching my drive

It sounds like sandpaper rubbing on wood and varies with speed so is definitely rotational
I have had the car jacked up, spun the wheels by hand, and driven the car with the rear off the ground and can't hear anything with no weight on the wheels
There is no sign of any rubbing on the tyres and the brakes are all free so I am puzzled
The car has just passed MOT so I don't think anything can be worn and I can't feel any play anywhere

Any ideas please

Maybe front pads/ disks need changing? Wear indicator rubbing the disk.

I wouldnt always trust the mot meaning its all good!!!

Alternatively, as I've just found, brand new discs and pads can also make a 'strange' rubbing noise until bedded in properly. If the sound is 'sharp' it's more likely to be worn pads etc, mine was a flat rubbing sound at very slow sped - 5mph - any more or less it would disappear as it would if brakes were applied.
