Rubber Trim Care

Guys,

Just cleaned my ///M roadster and noticed the rubber trim between the bodywork and hood at the back doesn't look great. Same goes with the rubber round the windscreen and at the bottom of the door windows.

What do you guys suggest? I have "Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gell" on my shelf, but worried it's too greasy.

Thanks, I'm going to buy that! If nothing else but for the doors on my 5 series that always freeze closed! Will see how it is at reconditioning the rubber on the Zed and buy another product if required. :thumbsup:
 
It was reccomended by another forum member (Mainiac?) and it was on a two for one offer when I bought it. Check ebay for other deals.
Its really great stuff :)
 
Gummi Pflege is good but a bit short term. I use the HellShine Abyss sealant that I use on the paintwork as its recommended for both and seals rubber nicely, darkening and softening it.
 
Gummi stuff seems ok for the moment... I gave all mine a good coating and it's still nice and shiny and you can feel the product is still there.
 
Just applied a couple of coats of the Gummi stuff, what a difference it's made! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: It's a big greasy, but a final wipe down and it looks fantastic.

Will need to see how durable it is.
 
Another recommendation for Gummi pflege. Seems to last, or at least keep the rubber darker. Just be careful not to get it on paintwork, streaks badly and hard to buff off.
