fuel on these cars is very important, i actually think for the temp on the day and the fuel you were using thats a respectable figure......... BUT all these dyno's should be taken with a pinch of salt imo.... ive seem my results go from 507bhp down to 490 after numerous runs, imo its all about how it feels on the road and its a simple fact dyno's are very easy to manipulate, its just a rough idea of power imo, good results for the conditions........

The temp on the day is corrected for using the SAE correction method. Same for barometric pressure and humidity etc...

The issue probably is just fuel. 95 vs 97 super or equivalent will give a big difference. It might not feel any faster because it's maybe only a few percent more torque all over, which is also why it's hard to spot the difference.

I'm surprised no one can just feel the difference in normal driving. It's a stark difference when going from 95 > sainsburys 97 super... well, I say stark, but I can tell right away. The engine just feels so much smoother and less granular in it's delivery.

I do find the engine smoother and the power delivery better... that and get c25 miles more to a tank when using VPower

I think it is smoother....Or is it?! Dunno! Can't really tell sitting in traffic most the day at 16mpg! :(

i think we should have a z4m RR shootout........

dozens of z4m.... to face the ultimate truth of whether you have a winner or loser.....

Sounds good... somewhere central for everyone, like Surrey! ;)

In my experience, a dyno test doesn't tell you much, if anything, unless you are running side by side with other cars, or are doing a diagnostic check of AFR's and other stuff against known good metrics.

As an isolated benchmark of power, either @ wheels or corrected, they are questionable!
