Going to have the steering wheel done, I have initially asked Jack to do it with blue stitching to tie in with the car colour but am having second thoughts due to no blue in the cabin, I could go Ivory white like the interior but think it may discolour fairly quickly..black would be the other option but doesn't really appeal..I can't decide so POLL! :D

Hmm tricky...I think I’d go for a flat bottom mod in black or maybe a dark red thread...the wife’s Mini has it and it looks quite tasteful on a Royal style wheel

It's easy to see why you're considering white and blue, but I think black is the only way to go

Ps with you on the curves

I've had mine done about 2 months ago Steve (saw Pbondars and that looked good), I swapped the SE steering wheel for the M Sport one as I wanted the newer paddle shift. I got it done in black as I didn't want the stitching going grimy, smooth leather top and bottom and perforated on the sides. I also got them to thicken it also, feels a lot better to handle when driving compared to the original. You could always put a blue marker at the 12 o'clock position.

I voted for black because the white would soon look dirty and as you say there is no blue inside the car.

Or you could go for the three "M" colours.

Yes I have requested it thickened up.. looks like black is the way to go, the cabin has enough theatre to it already in all fairness

I voted black stitching because as you say white will get grimy pretty quick but I would add an ivory white stripe on the top centre, it will tie in nicely with the interior.

I had one done in the M colours on my E85 and loved it so like Mr Tidy that would get my vote. :D

Oh dear, the voting is tightening up and now another option thrown into the mix..you buggars are supposed to be helping

I like the idea of black with either Blue or M color stitching. I have the same exterior and interior colors on my Z! Nice choice.

Not an E89, but here's my Royals wheel in an M coupe. I went black Alcantara, M stitching, and a black centre stripe.
