Royals Steering wheel

Last week I posted on another thread some pictures of my Royal's refurbed steering wheel stating I wasn't happy with the wonky stitching. Well....I'm an idiot. After comparing the refurbed wheel to my standard wheel the stitching is bang on perfect. It's how it is supposed to be. The stitching tails off and inwards due to the lump just above the thumb grips. I've attached some pics of the OEM wheel to show;

I feel a bit of a tit as I unfairly tarnished Royal's work before I had physically even seen the wheel. The wheel is incredible. The quality and stitching is pretty much as good as factory & the Alcantara is just lovely. So please disregard my comments on the other thread and don't think twice about using Royal's, their work and customer care is superb.

Here is a pic of the wheel fitted:

That looks very nice - the red centre band isn't my cup of tea on a road car tho.

The car is primarily a weekend car with quite a few Trackdays thrown in the mix, so it will come in handy. I wouldn't go for an Alcantara wheel if using it everyday. It would never last.

if my wheel wasn't so perfect ( condition wise) id love to get this done... but it would be a waste as its really in lovely condition.

Just buy a new one from them and keep your one. The Alcantara wheel feels so so much nicer than the standard leather wheel.

Do they put alcantara on without taking off the old leather? I think the M wheel is slightly big to me so maybe I should start with the thinner 3.0 wheel?
