Hi, I bought a M Sport steering wheel (already thicker) to replace my SE one, Royal ask you if you want the steering wheel thicker (I went 2mm). Feels a lot betterOuroux71 said:Looks superb. I have that on my list of must do. I imagine the wheel is a bit thicker now? I believe they cover over the old one?
you won't be disappointed, enjoylewis1962 said:Ordered mine last week, same as yours, but with red stitching to match interior and flat bottom. Its like being a kid again at Xmas !
£169 for my job (including return postage). That's not a lot if you see how much work goes into it and what other trimmers are charging.Rockhopper said:What kind of ball park money are they charging just out of interest!
Hi, it was really easy (I'm no mechanical genius), once you have disconnected the negative on the battery leave the car alone for about 30 minutes, I also dropped the windows and opened the bonnet just in case when I disconnected the battery I inadvertently shut the boot lid (did this on a previous exercise :lolHuzee4 said:How hard is it to remove the wheel please ?

Thanks ! That seems pretty straightforward, that’s now on my list of things to do, looks superbZed Baron said:Hi, it was really easy (I'm no mechanical genius), once you have disconnected the negative on the battery leave the car alone for about 30 minutes, I also dropped the windows and opened the bonnet just in case when I disconnected the battery I inadvertently shut the boot lid (did this on a previous exercise :lolHuzee4 said:How hard is it to remove the wheel please ?. Took me seconds and was really surprised, you then have two plugs to pull apart (one for airbag, other steering wheel controls paddle shift etc.). There is one bolt holding the steering wheel on, once removed you can see the marker at the bottom of the spline (means you can put it back on squint). I was surprised how easy it was and didn't need my emergency team to come and put out airbag warning lights etc
