Royal Purple experiences?

Im going to be changing my gearbox oil soon. I was wondering if people had any experiences with Royal Purple in 2003 spec manual 'boxes? Ive heard a lot of good things about it, and am torn between the LT2 and the RP stuff... Any info would be greatly appreciated.
 
Just did mine a week ago and made a big difference. Goes into reverse much better now, as well as going into 1st at stop lights. I highly suggest it. Did the CDV replace too :)
 
Thanks for the recomendation :thumbsup: How much does it take, 1.5 litres (a couple of quarts :P )? Also, did you do the diff too? Did you put Royal Purple Gear oil in? Too many questions? :D
 
I've used RP Synchromax with good results in my 2004 Z4 3.0 manual transmission. It seems a little thin though and I may try RedLine MTL at the next change. But I live in a warmer climate than you.
