Hi, I recently changed spark plugs and 2 ignition coils and the car runs good however at a stoplight it shakes real bad and rough idle. i didn't use platinum plugs. any ideas what i should be looking at to fix this now?

What prompted you to change the plugs and only two coils? Did it have a rough idle before you did the work?

clean your icv. and have a butchers at your throttlebody and disa while you're poking around that area.
check for vaccuum leaks in the intake boot while you have it whipped off. in fact the intake boot may be the culprit so inspect and address that before going further with icv etc

it ran horrible and i bought a NT510 scanner and that showed misfire on number 2 and number 4 cylinders and hence why i only replaced teo coils.

Did you clear the codes after you changed the coils?

If not, it could be the case that the ECU still thinks there's an issue with both cylinders (based on the stored fault code) and has shut them down.

yes, i cleared the codes and check engine light went away and does not show misfire now on scan and runs good but idle is horrible almost to point of stall. Should i order 4 more coils which would be all replaced then?

Put the 2 old coils back on see what happens. Also, were the new coils Bosch or some other other brand?

Are the new coils fully seated? I had issues when I replaced my coils and it was caused by one not being fully down on the plug. The OEM coils made a solid click when sat correctly, but the replacements did not. Once they were seated correctly the issue went away.

i plead ignorant. ICV ? WHAT is it and how hard is it to get to? Intake boots? Where are they?
Idle Air Control Valve and the rubber boot between the MAF and the throttle body.
