Hi guys
Need some help when a press the button for the roof nothing and the yellow light comes on any thoughts thanks steve

Parcel shelf up? Look in the boot towards the back at the top.

Hi no it's down just put the roof down manually then pushed the button and it went up ok just won't go down

for what it's worth..............
I was told by a BMW independent - when verifying my roof motor failure - that the amber warning light is specific to the operation of the parcel shelf micro switch, so I think that you need to check out the free movement and the effectiveness of the switch.

Should also have said that you need to check that the boot roof is in it's lowered position - adjusted by the round knobs at each side and below the boot roof. The micro switch only works on the roof down command it is totally inoperable on the roof close command. This is because if the parcel shelf/boot roof is in the rained position there is not enough room to stow the folded roof - so it stops the micro switch from engaging, hence the roof won't go down and the amber/yellow warning light flashes.
