Where's your roof motor now? Moved to the boot?
If so, apart from keeping it all standard, do you actually need the manual release system at all?
 
Motor moved to boot. But won’t open so I think it’s the pressure relief valve. Thinking if you open roof then close it surely something must swap over to allow these actions. Is this not the pressure relief valve.

That valve bypasses the hydraulics, allowing fluid to move from one side of the pump to the other, preventing a hydraulic lock when you manually move it.
The plunger should be free to move in and out a few mm. If it's not moving then that's your problem.
Does the roof move at all? In either direction?
Maybe your fluid level is a bit low.
On mine when I moved it, the motor ran but due to the greater angle in its new position the fluid weasn't covering all the ports in the resevoir so just sucked air through.
 
The plunger is very stiff but can push it in by hand, when opening the windows drop it unlocks at the front but won’t open without a push also won’t lock. Closes great. So I swapped hoses over so now it opens great but won’t close. Is relief valve stuck?.

Or you could PM umfaan as I think he is breaking an E85.
 
I have changed the two upstream lambda sensors the downstream sensor but there’s a fourth one what is this called and what’s it use please
 
You are going to struggle to source a lambda sensor on a thread titled 'Roof'.

Suggest you start a specific thread. :thumbsup:
