Roof won't work, no lights

Might be worth a go, but unfortunately if its a intermittent fault they may check out fine but still be the cause of your issue.

Exactly why I hate intermittent faults!
It's been up and down all winter, I did spend last week driving all around farmland with the roof down and the interior was full of dust when I got home, maybe that got into the mechanism and is causing it to stick, I'll give it a clean and grease. It opened and closed completely normally just now, hopefully that's a sign of things to come!

See if you can borrow an air line and blow the dust out of the nooks and crannies. So it's working again ?, maybe after your off roading adventure, the car went into sulk mode for treating it like a tractor

:D certainly worth a go

I thought I might have got lucky as it worked properly a couple of times, but yesterday it wouldn't latch closed so not sorted yet, have you got the same problem?

I have...but I only bought the car yesterday so don't yet have possession of it. Trying to research what to do firstly when I get to pick it up

For anyone else who has the same problem, it was a broken wire in the look on running up the passenger side of the roof.
