Roof won't unlock,

Evening people. After a dead roof a couple of weeks ago I got the roof out yesterday and back on this afternoon but now I can't get it to unlock / unlatch when I press the fold down button no lights nothing.
I've checked the parcel shelf micro switch and all appears fine. I'm stumped. And getting frustrated at it. I've checked the fuse as well.
Any ideas? I can't even lower it manually now as its locked into the windscreen. Thanks. Liam.

I know you've checked it, but completely dead at the switch is very much a sign of micro switch failure or it not engaging when the shelf thingy is in the lower position.

Can you double check by getting Someone to actually push the micro switch while you hit the button?

Thank you for replying Lance. I tried it by taking it and taping it up and have taken it off and checked with a multimeter and it seems all ok but I will try it again. Thanks.

The micro switch will throw a light on the panel.

No lights at all smacks of no power. If your fuses are ok maybe pull the switch panel, remove the wiring block and short the relevant pins to check it's not the switch.
