Roof won't open

Hi I have a z4 05 plate 2.5 went to put the roof down today and it wouldn't go down the windows don't move and no noise from the motor the light comes on the down button but has no light when you press the up button have checked the shelf in the boot and I'd down as should be also had a look at the red pin and that also dosnt look like it has been touched really don't no what has happened if any one can help will be really happy to no what this is cheers dan

There's a lot of posts on roof issues. Try a search. It won't help of course that you posted this in a car insurance thread!
