Hi all my e89 roof won’t operate, press button to open and switch glows red and a picture of roof appears in dash between clocks, car is 2010, been trawling past post but no help yet, thanks in advance ronnie

you'll need to read the fault codes or take it to someone who can.. its a complex mechanism!

And order the 2 salmon relais asap in advance from your BMW dealer.

RobbiZ4, how common/often will the microswitches breakdown as you have mentioned earlier in the other post?

Roof sorted, on one of the other posts It said check your temp sensor for read out on dash and mine was way off, so sorted it out and roof is now working,
