Roof will not open without engine running

My roof will not open without the engine running. It also doesn’t work with the fob.
With the engine running it works perfectly.
Battery has 12,06 Volts.

I bought the car only a couple of weeks ago, so not sure if it was always like this.

Any ideas?

Agree that sounds like the battery. Should typically be 12.5 to 13 volts after a run. Alternator should be kicking out around 13.5v

Have the same thing on my 2011 2.31.
Bought a trickle charger from Argos £20 and I leave it on overnight once a week and then roof opens with key. Even after a long run it's often not enough to charge without trickle.

Therefore you must have a problem with the alternator not charging the battery or battery not holding the charge.
When i put my code reader on i was surprised the voltage show with engine running was 15 volts.
Have these cars been properly coded if they ever had replacement batteries.
If the car is several years old i thinking it's worth investing a new battery, just for the convenience.

A couple of weeks ago out of curiosity I put the battery on charge, and it took 10 amps... The car starts perfectly and I have no issues whatsoever. The car is used almost daily so maybe if I didn't.... It's a newish battery I think but food for thought maybe.

I had the same issue - got a new battery and it only fixed it for a week or so. Are you still not having any issues since the new battery?
