Roof Troubles

We had a huge storm in chicago the other day and I'm now having troubles with my roof. It unlatches but doesn't go down. I can hear the motor running but nothing happens. I lowered it manually with the hydraulic release, however now it's supposed to rain again. When I tried to put it up manually it would go up about 6" and then seemed to be locked. I'm taking it on next Monday to have it looked at, but don't know what to do in the meantime to get it back up. Any help appreciated.

makes sure the release is properly disengaged as these can jam apparently. mine was pretty stiff to move and only pulled out a tiney bit
