roof treatment

That's due to me looking in the M thread & E85 ones.

Lovely motor mate, enjoy! I've only had mine 4 weeks and smiled with every journey.

Will be trying the nanolex sealant on mine at some point, as the beading looks spot on.
 
Another fantastic feature of the roadster is when your roof is nice and clean and totally protected, every time you get in in the wet you get a refreshing trickle of water down your neck. :D
 
Renovo reviver looks great at first, but it soon picks up fold marks and it makes the material hard. My fabric is ruined because of it.
 
instead of hoovering the bits of the roof my mrs showed me a little trick wrap 2 inch wide sellotape around your fingers sticky side out and just dab the bits off works a treat (good for getting dog hairs of your clothes too) :thumbsup:
 
Autoglym is still a Forum favourite. Just need to be careful not to get it on glass on paint as it's a bit of a bugger to get off once it's dry.

i've used it once when i bought the car about a year ago and then earlier in the month, fabric on mine is grand...

Seen someone else have a soft top go hard/brittle when he tried proofing it but he hadn't cleaned the old proofer off properly it turned out.

Def no issues with mine at any rate :)

He did indeed, my roof was faded so used renovo and it left my roof rough and hard like me lol, and showed fold marks badly hence why i gladly sacked it off for a new roof.....so actually im glad i used Renovo as it gave me the Red roof :lol:

no idea what happened to you lads then, mine is fine used it a couple of times now seen it used elsewhere and was grand.
Like anything some people will have issues I guess.
