roof switch tell tail light

I lowered the roof today and noticed after the red warning light went out that it started flashing again. I pressed the switch again (the motor hummed) the light went out then after a second or so it started flashing again. No other problems with the roof, opens and closes smoothly (its a 2004 car), any idea's?

Mine is in the shop as we speak for this...check that the roof is locked down properly (it should click down behind your head). Mine was not and apparently there is something wrong with the way it was folding. I will let you know what they come back with...

Also:
1. Check the two switches in the boot that move the plastic to give more space when the roof is up. Make sure these are both where they should be.
2. Check there is nothing in the well behind your head that is blocking the roof from coming down all the way.
