Roof stopped,Gaptech?

As far as the GapTech module goes, my first one was faulty and Gary at GapTech replaced it without any fuss.

My faulty one seemed to be sending spurious data packets and hogging the bus causing some weird and wonderful behavior... It started off working fine but then, after a week or so, the remote functionality stopped working and I found that the console buttons wouldn't work either. Started the car and found some other warning lights on the dash, the nav screen wouldn't fold up/down, I could turn the stereo on but not off, the indicators wouldn't work - all these things happening at once made me think that it had to be an bus issue so I disconnected the module and, when I fired up the car again, everything went back to normal.

.. and you changed your nappy after that :lol:

Agreed though, this behaviour is a sign of a faulty module.
 
Well I tried it this morning from the key. All ok

Tried it at lunch time from the key. All ok

Tried it 10 mins ago. All ok.

Just going To live with it for now, see what develops!!
