Hey all!
About 8 months ago, I installed the two retrofit elastic bands for the convertible top that fixes the slamming issue. It's been working great the whole time. HOWEVER, a few days ago, I noticed two little holes - one on each side of the top back corner area of the roof. After more careful inspection, I determined the cause to be from the two extra screws that hold the retrofit bands in place.
First of all, has anyone else had this problem?
Second, is there a fix?
Third, now that the roof has these two small cuts, can I repair the fabric or is it now just a matter of time before it needs replacing?
I guess this is the two steps forward, one step back thing, huh? :dizzy:
