Roof Repair Needed - Midlands (Chesterfield) 2007 E85

Evening,

Due to me being a new member I'm unable to PM so the few names I've noticed surrounding repairs are either the other side of the country or I haven't any contact details for them other that forum usr names.

Could someone be kind enough to advise whether there is anyone fairly local to chesterfield that is doing the roof motor replacements? Don't quite fancy paying the BMW Dealer prices if I can avoid it.

You could try andyfanshawe, his workshop is near the Harley Davidson dealer in chesterfield, I'm sure he moved the motor on the zed he's restoring

I can sort that for you in about 45 mins. Cost to forum members is £80 with an additional £20 if the motor is dead and needs work. I have done over 250 of these and never had to replace a motor. I also carry spare pumps, hoses and roof control modules so whatever it is, I can fix it.

I can vouch for andyfanshawe hes worked on cars all his life has his own z4 and has worked on a number of z4's including mine very trustworthy plus hes in chesterfield bonus :D :driving:
 
Do not bother searching around, contact mike at ducklakeview, he will sort your problem in 45 minutes. Did mine 4 weeks after purchase around May this year, worked perfectly after 45 minutes with Mike
 
That was 6 years ago so hopefully it has been fixed by now! :lol:

Yes, welcome to the forum, I had the same problem with the date of postings when I joined, can’t remember what I did, sorry but someone will know. Anyway, rules is rules, car photo please. :rofl: :thumbsup:
