So I have a slightly strange problem on my 2003 Z4 after opening & closing the roof.
The windows lower, the roof unlatches & lowers with no problem - the roof also closes and latches with no problem.
However, the red light next to the open / close buttons remains partially illuminated after opening and closing the roof - it stays like this with the ignition on & off.
The roof motor & pump was replaced last year when I purchased the car, a broken wire in the roof was also repaired at the same time. The car has been off the road during the winter, the partial red light light was not present before this.
Just wondering if the red light remaining partially on is something to be concerned about and if there is a pending issue with the roof system that needs addressing?
