Roof Red flashing LED

Can some one please tell me what cuts out the motor when opening
After successfully relocating to boot and getting plunger freed (thanks to all previous postings)
the roof opens and closes...

although like others have had it doesn't quiet sit low enough when opened (falls short around 10mm) from being flush and the red LED keeps flashing ?

Closes and locks perfect now from being open

is it the latching than stops the motor or a hall sensor ?
I cant see any electrical catches on the rear ?
 
Can anyone advise me of the red flashing when opening (and motor doesn't cut out) when roof is fully opened ?
 
If you have a pre facelift car , when the roof has finished opening just give the front edge of it a push down an you should hear it click into the lock and the red light should go out

its clicking in I think ? ill give it another try......

does this cut the motor out ? works perfect closing ??
 
Is the red light flashing when you hold the button or is it still flashing when the roof has finished it's cycle
 
I push the button and the roof opens fully and catches but the motor doesn't cut out until you release the button but the LED still flashes ?

Closes perfectly and shuts down
