Roof rattle

Our E89 Z4 (2009) has a rattle from the roof mechanism (brackets/arms) emanating from the boot compartment when the roof is up. It appears to be just on the passenger side arms, one of the arms has some play in it. Is there a way of tightening or is it a part that has to be repaired/replaced?

Hi, i think there’s a few threads on rattle remedies if you use the search function-some components are adjustable and some are silenced with strategically placed felt pads
