While grovelling around in the boot of my recently acquired e89 I discovered that the roof pump is loose and just sat directly on the metal floor. Do I assume this should not be the case? Any help how how it should be would be gratefully received.

Tinker15 said:Agreed about the manky but it will get cleaned up! The rest of the car is excellent. Do you know how it should be fixed? The foam is AWOL!![]()

My pump just sits in the foam loose.
Might be good opportunity to make sure you don't have a leak in there if recently acquired.
