Roof problems happen to other cars as well.

Just back from a tour of North Wales. Coming out of Caernarfon Castle on Wednesday came across a Renault Megane convertible owner with roof in mid way position. Rain was just starting and owner was standing there looking dumbfounded at his owner's manual. Thought he was going to bite my hand off when I offered to help. Handbook showed a screw hidden behind boot carpet needed to be undone to release hydraulic pressure to get into manual mode. Once unscrewed we got the roof to fully retract. Screw back in and roof was working again. One grateful owner on his way in the dry. :driving: :D

He must have one hell of a collection of cats at home or nearby, the roof was absolutely covered in cats hairs.

Good deed for the day - tick.
Feeling of relief that it wasn't you - tick.
Good on you for stopping to help instead of laughing (and pointing cellphone camera) like most others probably would/did
