Roof problems 2012

Hi

Thanks for all your help getting my 2012 up to scratch.

Just had heavy rain and noticed the the drivers side by roof is leaking.

It’s from the side trim by the front and rear roof. I can see there’s a flap that overlaps and seems to be leaking from there.

I have got some Gummi seal protector but not yet tried it and looked at at the process of resetting the windows but it still appears to be leaking.

Are there any tricks or tips that I should be looking at to try to stop the leak. I think it’s happened with previous owner as there was apparently a slight musty smell (which I couldn’t smell) in the car.

Cheers

Think I may have fixed it but typical rain has stopped the inner seal that goes over the door and covers the roof fabric was not flush after a bit of manipulation it’s now flush.... but stopped raining now

while someone is sitting in the drivers seat checking the seal from the inside

Just tried the rubber restorer and think fingers crossed it may have worked I did notice however that the small rear window at the base there’s a channel with a hole towards the door. When the water ran down the outside I noticed this filling the channel and draining through the hole is this normal?

That’s what mine does, unless they’re both busted :P
