Roof problem

Sorry if this is a question covered, but been searching and cant seem to find it.
When I press the roof down button, it lights up, but nothing happens, was working fine until yesterday.
Is this a sign the motor has gone? If so, anyone know somebody who could fix it for me? I live near Skipton North Yorkshire.

Does the roof unlatch, do the windows drop? If not, then have you moved the parcel shelf in the boot to the upper position? The boot micro switch needs to be triggered for the roof process to start.

Hi.

I am having the same issue. Roof was working fine on Wednesday. Today when I press the button, it lights up but nothing happens, windows stay up - no noise, nada. I have tried the moving the parcel shelf up & down, but still nothing. Any ideas ?

What colour light are you getting on the switch ?
If Red - you r motors dead,
If Orange, lower the Parcel shelf by rotating the two large knobs at either side in the boot

Report back and we'll go further if necessary

Hey, thanks for the reply. The light is orange & I've tried it with the parcel shelf in both positions/

Fixed at Autowerx MK (recommend them). Microswitch had come loose - now fully working
