Roof not working 2011 E89

Morning all, I had an issue over Christmas where there was water leaking into my boot, inside the polystyrene housing in the right hand side of my boot the parking sensor module and roof module were totally sumbermeged in water. I dried them out and stopped the leak from the light but ended up replacing the parking sensor module but am stuck with the roof module, on the dashboard I have the red roof warning sign and no lights on the opening or closing switches on the dashboard in front of the gear stick. Mike at the Zed Shed has offered to look at this for me and I know he will sort it but I have just started a new job and cannot get the time off at the moment to travel the 2 hours plus to see him so he can do the proper diagnostic...is there anyone close to Birmingham who can help or offer any advice as I am desperate to get the roof down. I have run some diagnostics as you can see on the photos

I’m willing to bet the module has failed due to being submerged

Especially looking at that code

You can try a new module just make sure you get the same part number

Hiya, thanks for the reply, im happy to do this but will I have to have it programmed to the car or will it just slot in and work?

Cool, thank you for this, I will see about ordering one....was so upset the other day when we had some sun and I couldn't get the roof open

So sorry to ask but do you know if any CTM E89 module will fit ok? Can't see any with the 09264978-01 number on it.

Have a search as I understand it’s more about the version/software which changed in or around 2013

Aim for a module the same age as your if unsure but use the search function to find out more
