Roof not operational (red light constant)

If it were me I’d cycle the roof manually to fully open and check the hall sensors are engaged

From there I would see if the motor works to close the roof
 
Please check youtube, for a video on this. There is a manual method to release the roof from the windshield. You may/may not have the need tool to release the roof. These cars have changed hands so many times over the years it might be gone. It would be contained in a tool kit which is located in the general area of the battery.
 
fixed mine yesterday , there are 2 knobs/dials in the that add cargo space. it will raise and lower a self in the same area where the roof will retract into the trunk. make sure that they are both spun into the down direction. this allows space for the sofft top to store. mine had one up and one down. evertong stopped working. no noise, just the orange light. this fixed it
 
Hi All,
My E85 2007 roof is not lowering down. The initial problem was that the motor did not run- I apply a lot of WD40 , and some turning and now it's running.
The unlatching is working, the motor is running spinning, the manual override is in place, the microswitch in the back trunk is pressed, there is enough hydraulic fluid.
Nevertheless , RED LED light constant working when pushing the button.

Any suggestions ?

Did you separate the motor from the pump? If so, did you put all the tiny pins back in properly?
 
Yes, 3 radial pins and one to the motor round plastic (with holes , also including a spring).
Did I forgot something ?

In that case possibly the pump is worn out. Swap over the pipes and the electrical connection do it runs the opposite way and see it that works.
If not then first stop is the pump
 
Sounds like the by-pass valve is stuck in, even though the hoop has been returned to the correct position

Good point. I made an assumption that the OP had checked that.
