Hey guys, this probably has been covered a hundred times but can't find it with the search.

1) when holding the unlock key the windows come down and roof unlatches but it doesnt go down. Using the button in the car there is no problem at all.

2) front left headlight has condensation in - whats the best way of removing it, was thinking of trying the silica gel trick, if someone could give me some tips that would be great!

Remove headlight bulb, insert a short length of garden hose with a funnel inserted into the end not in the headlight, get a hair drier and blow in hot air and just dry it out

Buddy, thought I'd let you know that I've manged to sort my 'misty' headlight issue...used a bit of 'Auto Glym - Car Glass Polish' on it this morning and it looks ace.

erm, isn't that just where the surface of the headlight lens surface has deteriorated and you've just polished it clear? I think the OP's point was that they had condensation inside the headlight unit...

OP- don't do the silica gel trick - someone on here tried that and found that it caused more damage and ended up getting a new headlight unit as a result.
The actual solution is possibly a new back plate (this will have a new rubber seal, you might be able to replicate the same resolution using some silicone sealant and your existing back plate but don't hold me to that...

hey guys i took the back plate off and there was a good couple mm of water in the headlight area, i used a piece of thin hose and sucked the water out, then shoved a hair dryer in and it all cleared up. one rain shower later and the waters back.

so i;m guessing i need a new back plate and seal - wheres the best place to purchase these from?
