Roof Motor Wanted

The inevitable has happened and to top it off the Bowden cable isn't working in order to operate manually, so a motor is required.

The motors are VERY robust, the fact that the bowden cable has also seized indicates the typical corrosion caused by water. Whereabouts are you located? Are you doing this yourself, because I can repair and relocate the motor into the boot if needed. The bowden cable is probably fine, the actual pin on the pump will be what's seized.

No, you get corrosion between the brass plunger and the aluminium pump body, the pin is spring loaded to pop back out but the corrosion sos this happening. I just clean, lubricate with a drop of roof oil and work it in and out with needle nose pliers until it's free again.
