Well they said they didn't take the roof off before hand, however nothing in the boot has moved which is apparently how they do it.. Had some stuff in there that literally hasn't budged an inch 
I didn't stay around, got the old man to tail me over and drop me back home.
Perhaps they took it off in the end, not sure to be honest haha. Just glad it is working again, despite the fact that I am aiming to sell it inside the next fortnight. Roof goes up/down so much faster now though!
