Roof motor replacement

Hi.

I have a 2012 2 litre z4 which has just 27k on the clock.

I have just been quoted just shy of £3000 by Sytners, who sold me the car 4 years ago, to replace the waterlogged motor.

To say I am gutted would be an understatement!

Does anyone know where I could get this done at a cheaper price.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

I repaired the exact same issue two weeks ago for a fraction of the price Sytner are quoting.

I get the final verdict tomorrow as to whether is salvageable or not.

Exchange motor can be had for around £700 no problem ..there are a few specialist suppliers.
