Roof motor replacement and relocation

Hello fellow owners,
Last week I had my roof motor replaced with a genuine item new fluids and relocated to prevent any further water damage
The company I used was based in Harrogate and were absolutely spot on, great bloke to deal with called Mervyn
He clearly knew what he was doing and I’d recommend him all day long.
Now I know there are most likely more expensive and cheaper people than him but I thought £375 all in was a great price and I’m glad I went with him.
So if anybody wants his contact details just ask.
I’m not sure if admin would let me plug his company on here so I can provide his details if required.

That sounds like a good deal, and it's always handy to find another person who can do the job.

I only know of 4 others who do that work and they are in Hampshire, Bristol, Cheshire and Durham.

And I don't think it would be a problem if you wanted posted a link to his details on here for the benefit of other members.

I know Mervyn and have spoken to him at length a few times regarding roof motor relocations and various issues and techniques.
Always very enthusiastic and reliable so if I’m the Yorkshire area, I’d endorse him too

Just to add there is a rail station 100yards from the garage with direct line to Harrogate central and York so a day out is less than half an hour away whilst it’s being repaired, and also he repairs by post the central locking modules.

I had my roof motor relocated by Mervyn a couple of years ago, great man to deal with and a 2year guarantee is well worth the time and effort.

Yes, you still want to check the drains spring & autumn just to stop water building up, but its not going to cause as much of an issue as having the motor sat in it.

I may be wrong, but I think I'm probably your nearest, in North Bristol. (Ross is Hampshire, Mervyn in Harrogate and Durham Dave in Durham)
