Hi Guys,
So I decided yesterday to have a look at the roof motor and see if there was any water ingress. What a bloody fight it was to get to it.
Considering the age of my car , 2005, the motor was in pristine condition. Even the plastic and foam inners looked brand new. 
So I've relocated it to inside of the boot. I'm going to manufacture a bracket today to keep it upright and secure. I had to cut a piece of the cap away so the hydraulic pipes were not snagged anyway. My next job is the refurb of the rear sub frame.

Always good to help prevent the dreaded motor failure. Even better when the old motor looks decent!
Everything still looked like it came right from the factory production line. Got my bracket made today and now it's secure.
