Roof Motor Relocation.

Hi Folks.

I don't suppose there is anyone around Nottingham or surrounding areas that could help me do a motor relocation is there???

I'm pretty sure in your previously derailed thread asking where people were, that Stuart (Bigwinn) mentioned being in Lincoln.
No doubt he'll be along shortly and I know he's done a few.

Managed to relocate my roof motor this morning. A massive thankyou to Bigwinn for his guidance and patience whilst being constantly harassed by me. 😂🙏🏻🥃

Does it work ok now? Mine wouldn't to begin with, as the fluid level was on minimum and the extra tilt in its new location left the intakes open to air.

I also managed to source a spare piece of carpet from someone on here who was breaking one, which hides it away quite nicely.

That bolt has never been there. I do need to source one though. 👍🏻

Fair play to anyone who takes this on, realised today this is beyond me :) I managed to get the parcel shelf off and it went downhill from there, gave up trying to remove the motor cover, :headbang: no strength, body not bendy enough and thought I might need to phone someone to get me out of the boot :D Are there any roof experts in the Kidderminster area that can do this for me at a reasonable cost?
 
I think "bigwinn" on the previous page may be the nearest roof motor relocator to you.
