Hi guys, as Paul has stated had my roof motor relocated by Dave last week. The work he carries out is first class he doesn't cut corners and is a perfectionist. I'm not on commission by the way just a very happy bunny not to have to worry about the motor now!.

Hah - none of us are! Just one of those things that joining the Forum leads to - shared knowledge, leads and support - thanks Cherrym - not the first time he's been able to offer advice and info

Great mod that looks well executed, if only bmw had been gifted with the foresight to put it there from new!
Thinking about getting mine repositioned now...
Regards

What a great mod. I have no mods, not even a stubby, but that one is a sure fire winner. Just took a quick look in the boot, takes up virtually no extra space either.

Looks a good job on both Paulgs and Firebobbys, its a job that I definitely want to get done especially as mine lives outside without
any kind of cover on it

Good to see we now have two well recommended guys at keen prices to relocate the hood motor within easy reach of North and South members.Dave is also very good at service and repair having years of experience with BMW,AUDI.VW and all at sensible cost in his workshop.

The prices are pretty different no? But once you account got fuel cost and time of southern members going up north, it does not become worth while.

Blimey, at that price if mine ever needs doing I'll do the 500-600 mile round trip and stay overnight in a Travelodge (assuming that you have such places that far north!!).
