Roof motor packed in

Hi guys! I've been noticing loads of roof motor problems popping up and mine has just also died!

I've had a quote of £1600 from a independent already but seen quotes far less on here....... I'm based in Preston, Lancashire, does anyone have a more local contact who someone has used?

Hi there I'm based in Manchester I use Darren Wood in Stockport they have just sorted my roof (wasn't a motor that was replaced by Jaguar ) it was roof rams and hydraulic lines worth a run down from Preston not sure what they charge for a motor but it certainly won't be £1600. PM me if you want any more info

I've not used this guy myself but I know a few on here have and they've all said good things. I believe he's done a quite a few new motors now and has it down to about 6 hours all being well. The last time I saw a post, a little while ago so his prices may have gone up a bit but it was just under £600.
