My roof motor is not working and the release cable in the trunk is seized, I been putting the top down manually but i have to wiggle it with force to make it go down and up which is sometime difficult. is there any way i can remove something to make it go up and down manually but without alot of force?

Liam-O is right of course, but you're looking for an interim solution? If you can't get the release cable working, there is none. The release cable opens a bypass valve in the hydraulics. You can only directly access the valve by removing the roof, so you may as well replace the motor at that point. The cable is the only possible work around.

You shouldn't force the roof, you don't want to distort the frame or damage the hydraulics. For the record, what year is your car, and is it normally garaged?
